SUPER SENIORS
Green Bay's trio of seniors stepped up in a big way on Saturday afternoon at Northern Kentucky, as all three turned in career-high marks in points scored. Jen Wellnitz led all scorers with 21 points and was followed closely by Laken James, who surpassed her career high for the second-consecutive game with 18 points. Carly Mohns joined in with her first double digit performance with Green Bay, scoring 13 points on a 6-of-7 effort.

BOUNCING BACK
Over the past five seasons, Green Bay has lost a total of only nine league games including a setback at Wright State last week. History implied the Phoenix would bounce back with a victory at Northern Kentucky and that's exactly what happened. The Phoenix secured a 20-point victory and has still only lost back-to-back league games on one occasion in the past five years.

A LOOK AT THE LEAGUE
After the first couple weekends of Horizon League Play, two teams remain unbeaten. Youngstown State, who the Phoenix welcomes to the Kress Center on Saturday afternoon, and Wright State both own perfect records at 4-0. Green Bay currently sits fourth in the standings behind the two undefeated programs and its opponent tonight, Cleveland State. The Vikings own a 3-1 league record to date, with their lone loss coming against IUPUI.

HOME SWEET HOME
Green Bay has secured 24-consecutive victories at home in Horizon League play, with its last conference loss on the Kress Center floor coming in the 2015-16 season against Oakland. The Phoenix dropped a nail-biter, 58-56, before rattling off the 24-straight wins. Since the 2014-15 campaign, GB has compiled a record of 34-2 in HL action while playing within the friendly confines of the Kress Center.

FAVORED TO WIN NUMBER 21
For the 11th-consecutive year, the Green Bay women's basketball team will enter the season as the Horizon League preseason favorite, as announced by the league office during its media day event in early October. Green Bay is fresh off its 20th-straight Horizon League Regular-Season Championship and is no stranger to high expectations, with Head coach Kevin Borseth's Phoenix squad receiving 28 of the 29 first-place votes in the poll and accumulating 286 points to lead the nearest school by 41 (IUPUI).

DEFENSIVE MINDSET
Green Bay owned the nation's best statistical defense in the country a season ago, allowing a lowly 47.4 PPG. The Phoenix was the only program in the nation to hold opposing teams to lower than 50 points per game. With the reigning Horizon League Defensive Player of the Year returning to this year's roster, Green Bay will look for more of the same from its nationally recognized defense.

WINNING TRADITION
Green Bay secured its 41st-consecutive winning season last year and trails only Tennessee (44) for the longest active streak in the nation. Green Bay's streak includes 20-straight conference titles and 18 NCAA Tournament appearances. The Phoenix also secured its 19th-consecutive 20-plus win season dating back to 1999-00.

WINNING....SINCE THE BEGINNING
The Green Bay women's basketball team is one of three Division I women's basketball programs that has had a winning record every year since the NCAA took over administration of women's college athletics in the fall of 1981. Essentially, the Phoenix has never had a losing record in the NCAA era. There only two other programs to accomplish the same feat, Tennessee and Georgia.

HORIZON LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SUCCESS
Last season Green Bay made its ninth-consecutive Horizon League Tournament Championship game and 20th overall. The Phoenix owns a 16-4 all-time record in the tournament's biggest game and has won 16 of the last 21 titles.

20 STRAIGHT
The Phoenix clinched its 20th-consecutive regular season conference championship last season, a streak that dates back to the 1998-99 season. Green Bay's current consecutive title run is the longest active conference championship streak in the nation. To really put things in perspective, the last time that Green Bay lost a regular-season conference championship, five members of the team hadn't been born (Karly MurphyLyndsey RobsonAnna Brecht, Patricia Gallasova and Hailey Oskey).
