10/14/2019 1:49:00 PM

GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) --- The Green Bay volleyball team will be hosting the second annual Alzheimer's Awareness Night on Friday, October 18th, at the Kress Center.  Pairing with the Alzheimer's Association Greater Wisconsin Chapter, the team will be bringing awareness to a devastating disease that affects millions of people of all ages worldwide, whether that be family members, caregivers, or those diagnosed.

The match will be against Horizon League foe Wright State at 6:00 p.m. CT, with the doors to the arena opening an hour beforehand.

Last year, the team raised over $6,000 for this great cause.

Fan Information
Fans are encouraged to wear purple to raise awareness and bring cash and change to donate either at the doors or during the match's Dash for Cash fundraiser.  Furthermore, there will be additional raffles with all proceeds going towards finding a cure to help enhance the lives of those living with the disease.  A check with the total amount raised will be presented the following day, October 19th, during the team's matchup against Northern Kentucky at 4:00 p.m CT.

The first 400 students in attendance will be given a black Green Bay Athletics drawstring bag.

Mention Alzheimer's Association when calling the Box Office to receive a $3.00 ticket to the match.
Youth tickets (17-under) are $2.00.
Day-of-game ticket price will be $5.00
