GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) --- The Green Bay volleyball team (12-6, 4-2 HL) will face off against Wright State and Northern Kentucky at the Kress Center this weekend.
The matchup against Wright State will be aired on ESPN+ while the match against Northern Kentucky will be streamed on ESPN3. Links to both matches are available on the Green Bay volleyball schedule page.
A Closer Look at Wright State: The Raiders are currently 16-2 on the season and 5-1 in conference play. After being swept in their last match at UIC, Wright State ended their nation-leading 16 game winning streak. Juniors Celia Powers and Teddie Sauer lead the team offensively, each having tallied 194 and 186 kills so far. Both lead the Raiders in total-blocks as well. Sophomore libero Jenna Story owns 414 digs and a dig per set ratio of 6.37 on the year which leads the Horizon League. Wright State currently sits in second place, one spot ahead of Green Bay.
A Closer Look at Northern Kentucky: The Norse are 10-8 overall and 3-3 in Horizon League action. Last weekend, the team suffered back-to-back losses to Oakland and league-leading Milwaukee. Senior Laura Crawford and sophomore Anna Brinkmann lead the team in kills and are top 10 in the conference in kills and kills per set. Junior libero/defensive specialist Ashton Terrill leads the way defensively with 335 digs on the season. Northern Kentucky is fourth in the league in blocks and blocks per set.
