QUICK HITS

MILWAUKEE SWEEP
GB got back to .500 in Horizon League play this past week, earning the season sweep over its in-state rival Milwaukee with a 90-74 win at the Kress Center. Four players scored in double-figures for the Phoenix, which shot 64 percent in the second half and was led by a GB career-high 18 points from Cody Schwartz on six made 3-pointers. The win gives GB a season sweep over Milwaukee, which may come in handy down the road for any postseason tiebreakers. GB has now beaten Milwaukee in 7 of of the last 9 meetings, including five-straight at home.

SHARING & CARING FOR THE ROCK
With its 2-1 assist to turnover ratio in its most recent game, with 18 assists to just 9 turnovers, GB enjoyed its best ratio in that category in any HL game this season. The 18 assists are the second most in any HL game this year as well, and the 9 turnovers matches a low in HL play as well. Sandy Cohen III and JayQuan McCloud each dished out five assists in the win over Milwaukee. Additionally, GB is 4-0 in HL play when it has fewer than 10 turnovers.

GOTTA GET 90
The 90 point threshold has paid dividends for GB this season, with the team owning a perfect 8-0 record when it scores 90 or more points. GB has scored exactly 90 points three times in HL play this season, and scored 92 and 99 in the other two HL victories, owning a 5-0 record in HL play alone. The Phoenix still leads the HL in scoring with 83.2 PPG.

SNIPING SCHWARTZ
Starting in the last two games, Cody Schwartz has been able to get into a rhythm once again as one of the team's best 3-point threats. In his most recent game, playing a season-high 27 minutes, Schwartz buried a career-high six 3-pointers on nine attempts, scoring a game-high 18 points. Schwartz had not connected on multiple 3s in the same game since

AIR McNAIR
Junior Josh McNair has now started in four-straight games for GB, which started in a home win over UIC where he had 8 points and 7 rebounds. In his last two games, McNair has scored 13 and a career-high 16 points, while shooting a blistering 12-for-13 from the field. He has made his living in the paint, scoring at the rim and also connecting from the mid-range, all while defending the other team's better guard players. McNair Has now scored in double-figures in back to back games, after scoring in double-figures just once in the 19 games he played in prior.

SECOND TIME AROUND
Green Bay did beat YSU and CSU at home earlier this season, but but those games came down to the wire. GB beat YSU 99-93 in OT in the Thursday game, before beating CSU 90-89 at the buzzer on Saturday. GB will look to earn the season sweep over both teams, much like it did against Milwaukee last week. GB hit 12 3s against YSU and 10 3s against CSU, the only two games in HL play this season the team has made double-digit 3-pointers. On the flip side, YSU knocked down 15 3-pointers and CSU had 13.
