DETROIT (GreenBayPhoenix.com) --- After trailing by 20 points early in the second half, Green Bay stormed back to within three before Wright State was able to fend off the rally and earn the spot in the 2019 Little Caesars Horizon League championship game. The Phoenix has its season come to a potential end at 17-16 and another top four finish, pending the team playing in a postseason tournament.
Senior
Sandy Cohen III led Green Bay with 13 points, but it was the physicality in the game that was the difference once again in the season series. Wright State grabbed 13 offensive rebounds and GB turned it over 16 times, giving the top seed in the tournament the edge.
