GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay men's tennis team (6-14) was unable to seal the deal against the IUPUI Jaguars (14-10) in a tight 3-4 loss, concluding the season for the Phoenix.
 
GB picked up the doubles point before notching victories at the No. 1 and No. 2 singles positions quickly thanks to seniors James Ling and Charlie Croxford, respectively. Ling completed his final year of eligibility with a winning singles record of 9-8, while Croxford was part of a doubles team that was undefeated in league play this season.
 
The Phoenix now set their sights on advancing to the semifinals, needing only one more win to move on. However, the Jags had the depth to take point in the 4-6 spots, leaving the deciding factor down to a three-set game at No. 3 singles. Senior Miles McDowall took the first set but was unable to stay on top in the lengthy match, despite a late rally in the third.

Green Bay now says farewell to five seniors on its roster: Ling, Croxford, McDowall, Tony Leto, and Charlie Ridout.
