GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay volleyball program will host a free match this Saturday at 11 a.m. the Kress Events Center, with current players taking on various Phoenix alumni in a friendly competition to mark the end of the spring season. The event will also double as a fundraising effort in order to update and enhance the team's locker room. Those that are unable to attend are encouraged to follow along with the day on Instagram (@gbphoenixvb).

The matchup will also symbol the conclusion of possibly the most successful year for the team, as fans will have the unique opportunity to view the unveiling of two new banners in the arena, representing the Phoenix's berth to the NCAA Tournament and the capture of the Horizon League Championship, respectively. GB advanced to the First Round of the 2018 Division I NCAA Tournament this season for the first time in 15 years and just the second time in program history after claiming their first-ever regular season championship.
