GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) --- The Green Bay women's soccer team will look to return to its winning ways this weekend as the Phoenix readies for three games in four days.
 
Game Information: Thursday at Arkansas Pine Bluff – 5 p.m. // Saturday at Mississippi Valley State – 6 p.m. // Sunday at Alcorn State – 1 p.m.
 
Most Recently for the Phoenix: Green Bay dropped their second game of the season against Northern State on last week, falling 1-0 in overtime. The Phoenix dominated almost every aspect of the game, registering 17 shots and 5 of those on goal compared the Northern State's 6 shots and 3 on goal but ultimately never put a ball past Northern State goalkeeper.
Green Bay battled in-state rival Wisconsin to a scoreless half, but the Badgers found the back of the net twice in the second half to seal the win. Alyssa Barnes and Jordan Cook tallied the only two shots for Green Bay in the contest. The Badgers ended any potential Phoenix comeback by tacking on a goal in the 81^st minute.
 
Scouting the Golden Lions: Arkansas Pine Bluff will enter the game against Green Bay with a record of 2-4 on the 2019 season. Five Golden Lions have scored this year and they have given up 24 goals. This will be the first matchup in women's soccer between these two programs. Last year Arkansas Pine Bluff went 3-9-2.
 
Scouting the Devils: Mississippi Valley State is currently 1-2-1 on the 2019 season but are undefeated at home. These two teams have never matched up before and this will be the final game for the Devils before they begin conference play. The top three goal scorers for Mississippi Valley State have graduated so they will be looking for scoring in other areas.
 
Scouting the Braves: Alcorn State will match up with the Phoenix on the 15^th and currently have a 0-4 record. Alcorn State has yet to net a goal this year but has given up its fair share of goals thus far. They have been outscored by their last two opponents 0-10 and 0-3.
