GREEN BAY --- The Green Bay men's basketball team is scheduled to play five nonconference games in the 2020-21 season.

The Phoenix opens with back-to-back contests against Big Ten opponents, Minnesota (Nov. 25) and Wisconsin (Dec. 1), before returning home for its lone matchup at the Kress Center versus Eastern Illinois (Dec. 5). GB then finishes off the nonconference schedule with games at Marquette (Dec. 8) and Northern Iowa (Dec. 12).

The entire nonconference slate will precede the start of the Horizon League season for the Phoenix, which opens on December 19 and 20 at home against Milwaukee. The league schedule was recently announced, and no fans will be allowed at home games through at least December.

at Minnesota | Wednesday, November 25 | Williams Arena
Green Bay opens the season at Minnesota, a team which finished just shy of .500 last season at 15-16 with an 8-12 record in the Big Ten. The Gophers' are led my redshirt junior Marcus Carr, who was named to the 2020 Preseason All-Big Ten Team after a record-setting sophomore campaign.

at Wisconsin | Tuesday, December 1 | Kohl Center
The Badgers finished 21-10 in last year's regular season and logged a 14-6 record in Big Ten play. Wisconsin rattled of eight-straight wins before the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Badgers are currently No. 7 in the country in the AP and USA Today Coaches Polls.

vs Eastern Illinois | Saturday, December 5 | Kress Center
EIU was 17-15 overall and 9-9 in Ohio Valley Conference play last season. The Panthers welcomed the Phoenix to Lantz Arena last year and secured a victory on their home floor, 93-80. Eastern Illinois returns its leading scorer, Josiah Wallace, to the squad after he averaged 15.6 PPG and landed on First Team All-OVC last season. The Panthers also return All-OVC honorees Mack Smith (second team) and George Dixon (all-newcomer team).

at Marquette | Tuesday, December 8 | Fiserv Forum
The Phoenix will take the floor against Marquette for the first time since 2012 on December 8 at the Fiserv Forum. The last meeting between the two programs was played at the Resch Center and resulted in a 49-47 Phoenix victory. The BIG EAST recently unveiled its preseason accolades, which included Marquette's Dawson Garcia as freshman of the year. Garcia was tabbed a McDonald's All-American as a senior at Prior Lake High School and was a consensus top-50 recruit in 2019-20. 

at Northern Iowa | Saturday, December 12 | McLeod Center
The Panthers are favored to win the Missouri Valley Conference for the first time since the 2009-10 season. UNI finished 25-6 last year and returns preseason player of the year AJ Green and fellow first-team honoree Austin Phyfe.

These nonconference games give Green Bay a total of 25 scheduled games for the 2020-21 season.
