First Round and Quarterfinal Tickets ON SALE NOW for Green Bay Basketball Teams

2/25/2020 9:30:00 AM

IT'S ALMOST MARCH MADNESS!

With the final week of the regular season taking place this weekend ahead of the 2020 Horizon League Basketball Tournaments for both the Green Bay men's and women's basketball teams, tickets are on sale now for potential home tournament games for both teams. With the first two rounds of tournament play taking place at campus sites this year based on seeds, the women's basketball team has secured no worse than two potential home games on March 3 and March 5.The men have secured a home game on Tuesday, March 3 and are in prime position to host again with a win on March 5.

NOTE: If the Green Bay women win both games to end the regular season, they will secure the No. 2 seed and a double-bye to the semifinals in Indianapolis.

Fans now have the chance to reserve seats for either of the two possible home tournament games. Here are the scenarios in play:
  • Only men host (3/3 & 3/5, 7 PM): Fans can reserve Resch Center assigned seats
  • BOTH men and women host (3/3 & 3/5, 5:30 & 8 PM): Fans can reserve Kress Center, general admission seats in the lower bowl for a doubleheader.
Below is the ticketing plan if BOTH the men AND the women host:
  • Time: Doubleheader at the Kress Center on Tuesday, March 3: 5:30 p.m. (women) and 8 p.m. (men). Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. for the doubleheader, and there will be 30 minutes between games. Should both teams advance and have another home game on March 5, there will once again be a doubleheader at the Kress Center.
  • Seating: Seating will be preferred general admission, meaning season ticket holders will have first claim to lower bowl seats until end of day Wednesday, February 26. After that, tickets will be available to the general public.
  • Pricing: Tickets will cost $10 in the lower bowl and $5 in the upper bowl on both Tuesday and Thursday, and will include BOTH the men's and women's game together on one ticket.
  • Parking: Phoenix Fund parking passes will be honored for both men and women in the Baird Foundation Lot; members should use their Feb. 29 passes for all postseason games. General parking will be available in various lots on campus, just like in the regular season.
  • Why: Given the crossover in both fan bases and the operational logistics of hosting at two different venues at the same time, it has been decided play a doubleheader at the Kress Center if both teams earn a home game.
