GREEN BAY – The 2020-21 Gotham Classic schedule has been announced, with Green Bay playing four games during its participation in the preseason tournament. GB will play three road games and one home game, including tough road trips to LSU and Syracuse.

ABOUT SYRACUSE
Syracuse was 18-14 overall and 10-10 in ACC play last season. The Orange had also won its first ACC Tournament game before the national pandemic ended the college basketball season. Syracuse returns four of five starters, including junior guard Buddy Boeheim (15.3 ppg). Head coach Jim Boeheim enters his 45th season at the helm of the program.

ABOUT LSU
LSU turned in a 21-10 overall record and a 12-6 mark in the Southeastern Conference last season and was ranked as high as No. 18 in both major polls. The Tigers earned the No. 3 seed in the SEC Tournament, featured two all-conference selections and they're expected to be ranked in the preseason top 25 next season.

ABOUT JACKSONVILLE STATE
Jacksonville State posted a 13-19 record last season paired with an 8-10 performance in the Ohio Valley Conference, placing them seventh. The Gamecocks' season came to an end in the first round of the OVC Men's Basketball Championships in March after falling to Eastern Illinois, 67-61. Kayne Henry returns to the squad in 2020-21 after being named to the OVC All-Newcomer team last year.

ABOUT MERCER
Mercer went 17-15 overall last season and finished fourth in the Southern Conference with a record of 11-7. The Bears will benefit from the return of Ross Cummings, who was a member of the Preseason All-Southern Conference team but missed the majority of last season due to injury. He averaged 17.4 points the previous season and has been granted a fifth season of eligibility. The Bears also return Jeff Gary, the son of Mercer head coach Greg Gary, who averaged 11.5 points last season.
