GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) --- Green Bay's three-game winning streak was snapped on Friday night at Calihan Hall as host Detroit Mercy turned in its best shooting performance of the season, finishing 17-of-26 from three-point range to help claim an 86-61 victory.

The Phoenix jumped out to a 6-0 lead after
PJ Pipes and
Amari Davis connected from long range. The advantage was short-lived, however, as the Titans stormed back with an 8-0 run to take control.

Pipes and Davis would once again respond with back-to-back three-pointers to put GB back in front 12-11, but it was be the last advantage the Green and White would see in the matchup.

As the opening half came to a close and both teams headed to the locker room, UDM's lead had reached double figures, 44-31, despite a 9-of-16 performance from long range for Green Bay.

The Titans continued its impressive shooting display deep into the second half, helping to seal an 86-61 victory.

Pipes finished with a team-high 17 points and sank five three-pointers while doling out five assists in 32 minutes. Fellow senior
Josh Jefferson also reached double figures, adding 10 points to GB's total.

Green Bay shot only two free throws in the pairing and Detroit Mercy finished 7-of-11 from the line.
GB buried 14 three-pointers in the game, tying the program record for number of triples made in a single game. The Phoenix has made 14 triples five other times in program history.

Green Bay returns to the court tomorrow at 4 p.m. to close out the series with Detroit Mercy. The game will once again be streamed live on ESPN+.
