ROCHESTER -- The Green Bay men's soccer team came up short against Oakland 3-1 Wednesday (Oct. 13) on the road at Oakland Soccer Field.
How it Happened
Oakland grabbed a 1-0 lead when Owen Smith scored in the 44th minute, assisted by Charlie Braithwaite and Noah Jensen.
The Golden Grizzlies added another score on a goal from Mikey Ketteman in the 72nd minute, assisted by Robbie Cleary and Kai Garvey.
Oakland extended its lead to 3-0 on Dylan Borczak's 87th-minute goal, assisted by Smith.
The Phoenix cut into the Golden Grizzlies lead and made it a 3-1 game with an 89th-minute goal from Ezau Millan, his second goal of the season. Michael McDougall and Andrew Paolucci assisted the goal. The score capped the 3-1 match.
