A GREAT CAUSE
Pairing with the National Breast Cancer Foundation, the team will be bringing awareness to a devastating disease that affects millions of people worldwide. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to raise awareness and bring cash and change to donate either at the doors or during the match's Dash for Cash fundraiser.  Furthermore, there will be a 50/50 raffle with all proceeds going to causes that focus on breast cancer detection.

WEEK IN REVIEW
The Phoenix is coming into the weekend having won six straight sets in back-to-back sweeps over Youngstown State and Robert Morris. Tiffany Paalman led the offense with 11 kills against Youngstown State, and Alexandra Zakutney did the same against Robert Morris, racking up 14 kills in the contest. Iro Chounta registered an 11-kill, 12-dig double-double against Robert Morris, her first of the season.
 
A WEEK TO REMEMBER
Calli Gentry  was named the Nike Horizon League Player of the Week Wednesday afternoon, as announced by the league office. The award is the first of Gentry's career, as well as the first for the Phoenix in the 2021 season.
 
Last week the redshirt-freshman extended her lead at the top of the Horizon League assists leaderboard, racking up 72 assists across two matches, moving her up to 10.05 assists per set. The St. Charles, Ill., native also led GB with a .313 hitting percentage and averaged 3.83 digs per set.
 
This season, Gentry has racked up 804 assists, good for seventh-best in the NCAA.
