GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) --- The third-seeded Green Bay women's basketball team welcomes No. 6 Cleveland State to the Kress Center for the quarterfinals round of the Horizon League Tournament on Tuesday night. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. and will be streamed live on ESPN+.

Caitlyn Hibner was the lone honoree tabbed for postseason awards from the Horizon League despite GB finishing with the second-best winning percentage in the HL, as the senior earned a second-team nod. It was the second-consecutive year where Hibner earned an all-league recognition, with last year bringing a third-team honor.

IN THE HL TOURNAMENT
The Green Bay women's basketball program has an all-time record of 62-11 in the Horizon League Tournament, winning the tournament title a league-best 16 times while no other current league member has been crowned champion more than twice. All other current league members combine for a total of eight HL championships.

PHOENIX ON FIRE
Green Bay is the hottest team in the Horizon League heading into the tournament, with the Phoenix owning a league-best six-game winning streak. Over that span, GB's margin of victory is +11.5 and its defense has only allowed 55.0 PPG. The streak also includes two wins over top-seeded Wright State on the road.

SEMIFINAL SUCCESS
Green Bay has advanced to 26-consecutive Horizon League Tournament Semifinal games, with the Phoenix with the Phoenix winning 10-straight semifinals and advancing to the championship.

Although the season got off to a rocky start for the Phoenix, GB responded well in the new year and rattled off seven-straight league wins with only one loss. Green Bay has pieced together a 14-2 record in in 2021.

PINGEL RUNNING POINT
Meghan Pingel ranks second in the HL in assists per game with 4.8 and leads the entire league in assist/turnover ratio at 2.0.

PLAYING BOTH WAYS
Green Bay is the only program to rank inside the Horizon League's top three in both field-goal percentage (43.1%) and field-goal percentage defense (36.5%).

FRIDAY FEELING
This unique season has the Phoenix playing on back-to-back days in the Horizon League slate, with tilts on Fridays and Saturdays. GB is a perfect 8-0 on Fridays this season.

BALANCED ATTACK
Eight different members of the Phoenix have registered double-digit scoring efforts this season.
Caitlyn Hibner leads the team with 15 this year and 38 in her career.

ROBSON ROLLING
Lyndsey Robson is playing some of the best basketball of her career. She has scored in double figures eight times this season which included a stretch of four-straight games, the longest of her career. She has also led Green Bay in scoring three times this year and seven times in her career.

LEANING ON LEVY
Since donning the Green and White for the Phoenix,
Sydney Levy has been one of the most reliable scorers and ranks second on the team with 9.3 PPG. Levy has reached double-digits in scoring seven times this season.

Freshman
Jasmine Kondrakiewicz registered a career-high four blocks in Green Bay's overtime contest at Oakland, aiding in the 78-76 Phoenix victory. She also leads the team in blocks on the season with 15.

LEVY LEAVING THE BENCH
Transfer
Sydney Levy is now immediately eligible after the NCAA Division I Council voted Wednesday to grant a blanket waiver allowing all Division-I transfers to play immediately this year. Levy is a transfer from Milwaukee.

MID-MAJOR POLL MATCHUPS
The Phoenix won its first pairing with a team in the mid-major poll, defeating Drake, 69-61, who currently ranks 20th. Most recently, Green Bay fell in back-to-back games with league-foe Milwaukee, who ranks 10th.

FANTASTIC FRESHMAN
Kondrakiewicz made her first career start for Green Bay to open the season vs Drake, marking the first time since the 2013-14 season a true freshman graced the starting lineup for the Phoenix. Kondrakiewicz took advantage of the opportunity and scored 15 points in 20 minutes while shooting 50% (5-10) from the field. She also pulled down two rebounds, dished out one assist, logged one steal and recorded a block in her debut.

PRESEASON PICKS
The Green Bay women's basketball team is slated to finish second in the Horizon League, as defending champion IUPUI was dubbed preseason favorite with all 12 first-place votes. It marks the first time in over a decade the Phoenix women were not selected by the conference as preseason favorites. The last time Green Bay wasn't favored to win the league was in the 2007-08 season, when the team finished 17-1 in conference play and 26-6 overall.

HIBNER HEATING UP
Hibner logged the sixth double-double of her career this season and has already scored in double figures six times. She has surpassed 20 points three times and led the Phoenix in scoring in six games this season.

WINNING TRADITION
Green Bay secured its 44th-consecutive winning season last year and trails only Tennessee (47) for the longest active streak in the nation. During that span, GB also pieced together a stretch of 20-straight conference titles and made 18 NCAA tournament appearances. The Phoenix also rattled off 20-consecutive 20-plus win seasons dating back to 1999-00.

WINNING....SINCE THE BEGINNING
The Green Bay women's basketball team is one of three division I women's basketball programs that has had a winning record every year since the NCAA took over administration of women's college athletics in the fall of 1981. Essentially, the Phoenix has never had a losing record in the NCAA era. The only two other programs to accomplish the same feat are Tennessee and Georgia.

WELCOME TO THE LEAGUE
The Horizon League added two institutions to the conference beginning this season in RMU and Purdue Fort Wayne. The colonials are coming off a NEC regular season title and are led by head coach Charlie Buscaglia. Head coach Niecee Nelson is at the helm for the Mastodons.
