GREEN BAY, Wis. --- The Green Bay women's basketball team now knows its opponents for the 2021 South Point Shootout in Las Vegas, Nevada, on November 26 and 27, squaring off with Oklahoma State and SMU. The two-game neutral site tournament will take place at South Point Hotel and Casino, with the Phoenix also being joined by Seattle at this year's event who they will not face. GB will play both games at 12 p.m. PST (2 p.m. CT) on Friday and Saturday.

GB will face an Oklahoma State (Big 12) that went 19-9 last season and advanced to the NCAA Tournament Second Round before falling to top-seeded Stanford. This will be the first-ever meeting between the Phoenix and the Cowgirls. The next day at the same time, GB will take on SMU (American Athletic Conference), a team that only played in six games last season before their year was ended early due to the pandemic. The two teams have met just one time, back in Dallas in 1995, with the Mustangs coming out on top.
