DAYTON, Ohio -- The Green Bay men's soccer team fell 3-1 on the road against Wright Sate on Saturday (Sept. 18) at Alumni Field, with all three Raiders' goals coming in the first half.
The loss dropped Green Bay's record to 1-4-1 overall and 0-2-0 in Horizon League action. The Phoenix will have its League bye week next weekend, but will play host to Northern Illinois on Saturday night for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
How it Happened
Wright St. grabbed a 1-0 lead when Zion Beaton scored in the 15th minute, assisted by Sandro Branquinho.
The Raiders took a 2-0 lead on a goal from Branquinho in the 25th minute, assisted by Chris Geddis.
Wright St. went up 3-0 on Conner Osterholt's 37th-minute goal, assisted by Reece Allbaugh.
The Phoenix cut into the Raiders lead and made it a 3-1 game with an 83rd-minute goal from Ezau Millan.. The score capped the 3-1 match.
