CHICAGO -- The Green Bay men's soccer team came up on the losing end in overtime against Chicago State 1-0 on Friday (Sept. 3) on the road at Wish Field. The game was played on DePaul University's campus after the game was moved from SeatGeek Stadium earlier in the week.
GB goes to 1-2-0 on the season, with HL play on deck.
How it Happened
Green Bay kept Chicago State scoreless for all of regulation play before allowing the golden goal in overtime. No Green Bay players recorded a save in the game. The Phoenix totaled nine shots in the loss, three of them on goal. Green Bay held Chicago State to only four shots with just one shot on goal.
