GREEN BAY --- Returning home for the first time in over a month, the Green Bay volleyball team will host Northern Kentucky (Friday) and Wright State (Sunday) at the Kress Center this weekend. The two games will also serve as the program's Alumni Weekend, welcoming back former players and alumni to the games.

WEEK IN REVIEW
Green Bay got off to a hot start in the #HLVB standings, picking up wins over Purdue Fort Wayne and IUPUI on the road. GB dropped its first League match of the year on Tuesday night at UIC,falling in three-straight sets, but now returns home for a pair looking to get back on track. Tiffany Paalman has looked great at the net so far through three HL matches, averaging 2.7 kills per set at a .260 hitting percentage. Paalman had 16 kills in both matches at Purdue Fort Wayne and IUPUI, before UIC was able to keep her in check. Alexandra Zakutney racked up 33 kills in the three matches and recorded a team-high six aces. Calli Gentry ran the offense with 9.6 assists per set and Iro Chounta and Abby Gardner combined for over 6.5 digs per set as well.

DOWN AND DEFENSIVE
The Phoenix defense leads the Horizon League in league matches only in opponent hitting percentage, holding their opponents to a .119 hitting clip. GB has forced 80 errors in the 12 sets played, and is second in the HL in kills allowed per set at 10.58.
