GREEN BAY, Wis. – Student-athletes at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay combined to achieve a department-wide grade point average of 3.40 in the fall of 2021. This semester marks the 44
th-consecutive semester above a 3.0 GPA, a streak that dates back to the spring of 2000.
For the fall semester of 2021, 10 of 13 Green Bay athletics teams achieved a semester grade point average of 3.4 or higher, while four of those ten achieved 3.7 or higher.
Leading the way for the department was men's golf with a 3.85 grade point average. Women's golf wasn't far behind, coming in at a 3.82 GPA.
The athletics department's semester grade point average has remained above 3.0 over the past 42 semesters and has surpassed 3.25 in each of the last 15. For the fall 2021 semester, over 80% percent of Green Bay's student-athletes individually achieved a 3.0 or higher; and over 21% percent achieved a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
