GREEN BAY, Wis. – Today Green Bay Athletics announced it has created the RISE Program, a dedicated name, image, and likeness (NIL) marketplace for Phoenix student-athletes.
 
In collaboration with Opendorse, a nationwide NIL leader, RISE at Green Bay provides Phoenix supporters and interested businesses a single platform to access hundreds of student-athlete profiles and pitch those they are interested in pursuing for NIL opportunities. Green Bay's relationship with Opendorse was first established when the Horizon League became the first conference to sign a partnership with the company, providing services to all 11 member institutions.
 
"We're excited to partner with Opendorse to help connect our student-athletes with the strong business community in this region and beyond," said Director of Athletics Josh Moon. "Green Bay's strength is relationships, which will help us be a leader in the NIL space at the mid-major level. This partnership along with what the recently established Fly With the Phoenix Collective is doing for our student-athletes, shows the many possibilities to connect with Northeast Wisconsin's Division 1 team."

Green Bay student-athletes that are interested in being on the marketplace have created profiles, and will now be able to receive deals in this new forum. Student-athletes can review opportunities, accept deals and receive compensation all in one place, the Opendorse app.
 
Once a deal is completed, the student-athlete immediately receives compensation to their account and can automatically disclose their activity to Green Bay Athletics.
 
"Green Bay is committed to supporting student-athletes on their NIL journey," said Opendorse senior director of collegiate partnerships Tim Pederson. "By launching this marketplace, Green Bay student-athletes are now in a position to maximize their opportunity with NIL by more easily connecting with the Phoenix fanbase and community."
 
In addition to the marketplace, Green Bay will receive full access to Opendorse's all-in-one NIL platform, providing compliance, content, and education tools to student-athletes.
