Green Bay, Wis. — Green Bay Volleyball will host the Second Annual Big Ash Bash Grass Volleyball Tournament on June 13–14 at the Kress Events Center, bringing together alumni, community members, and volleyball enthusiasts for a weekend of competition, connection, and support of the Green Bay volleyball program.
The Big Ash Bash features a 3v3 grass volleyball tournament on Saturday
, followed by a coed quads tournament on Sunday. In addition to competitive play, the event will include event t-shirt sales, music, and a lively, community-focused atmosphere.
Proceeds from the Big Ash Bash directly support Green Bay Volleyball and help enhance the overall student-athlete experience. Funds raised contribute to team development opportunities, training resources, preseason travel, and meaningful activities that strengthen team culture and create lasting memories for student-athletes.
"Providing meaningful experiences for our team is a huge part of what we value in Green Bay Volleyball," said Head Coach
Abbey Sutherland. "Opportunities like team travel, community engagement, and special events help our women grow beyond the court and create memories that last well beyond their playing careers."
The event also serves as a unique opportunity for alumni to reconnect with the program and current student-athletes.
"Being able to come back to campus and compete while supporting the Division I student-athlete experience was something our alumni loved from last year's Big Ash Bash," said Calli Gentry, Green Bay Volleyball alum and founder of the event. "It's a great way to stay connected to the program while playing great volleyball and having fun."
Current student-athletes also feel the impact of the support generated by the event.
"The Big Ash Bash is a great opportunity for our team to connect with our community while raising support for our program," said junior
Kirsten Fish. "The funds raised help provide experiences that enhance our journey as student-athletes and help us build lifelong relationships."
Local businesses and supporters are encouraged to participate through sponsorship opportunities, including Championship Sponsor, Court Sponsor, and Donation Sponsor levels, as well as custom partnership options.
