ABOUT THE PANTHERS
Megan Walstad leads the charge for the Panthers. She leads Milwaukee in nearly every statistical category. She averages 15.1 points in 33.6 minutes played per game. Walstad, named Player of the Week by the Horizon League on Dec. 20, shoots 50-percent from the field (148-of-296), and is impressive from the charity stripe, shooting 88.2-percent (67-of-76). Sydney Staver is another big piece to the puzzle for the Panthers, averaging 8.9 points per contest. She, along with Walstad and McKaela Schmelzer, have started all 25 of Milwaukee's games.

Like Green Bay, Milwaukee is stellar from the charity stripe. The Panthers were third in the nation at one point in free-throw percentage, and currently sit seventh, just three-tenths of a percent behind the Phoenix. The Panthers scoring margin sits at 0, scoring 60.2 points per game, while also surrendering 60.2 PPG. Milwaukee is good on the glass, outrebounding opponents by an average of 3.8 RPG.

SERIES HISTORY
Green Bay owns a 72-21 record all-time against Milwaukee. The I-43 rivals have battled since February of 1975. GB won 17 consecutive games against Milwaukee from Jan. 13, 2007 to March 9, 2013. Just two weeks ago, the Phoenix defeated the Panthers at home, 65-56.

LAST TIME OUT
The Phoenix kept their win streak rolling with a weekend sweep over UIC and IUPUI. GB handled UIC thanks to Sydney Levy going off for 21 points in 24 minutes off the bench. The former Milwaukee Panther was 8-of-13 from the field, and 4-of-7 from deep.

A balanced scoring attack and suffocating defense gave GB a 71-56 statement win over IUPUI on Saturday. Hailey Oskey and Cassie Schiltz each had 16, while Jasmine Kondrakiewicz came off the bench and scored 11 points in just 13 minutes. The freshman went 3-for-3 from downtown.

WINNING WAYS
Green Bay's current ten-game win streak marks the longest since the 2017-18 season, when the Phoenix won 11 straight games from 1/06/18 to 2/10/18.

HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS
The Phoenix finished the regular season home schedule with a 9-1 record. The .900 winning percentage is the highest since GB went a perfect 13-0 at home during the regular season in 2017-18. Green Bay's last home loss was Nov. 18 vs Northern Kentucky.

BEWARE OF BUTLER
True freshman Bailey Butler has had a spectacular season for Green Bay. The Horizon League named her Freshman of the Week on Feb. 14, making it her third overall honor, and second consecutive week to garner the award. Over her last five games, Butler has averaged:
  • 8.4 points
  • 5.8 rebounds
  • 2.2 assists
  • 45.5-percent shooting from the field (15-of-33)

DRIVEN BY DEFENSE
The Phoenix allows opponents just 54.9 points per game, marking the lowest of any HL team and 20th in the nation. IUPUI is 31st in the nation, allowing just 56.5 ppg. Youngstown State is on the Jaguars' heels at 36th, surrendering 56.8 ppg.

Green Bay is 13-2 when opponents score 59 points or less, and 16-4 when opponents score 69 points or less. The Phoenix has held opponents to less than 60 points 14 times in 20 games this season.

OFFENSIVE OPPORTUNITIES
GB spreads the wealth on offense, having just one player averaging over 10 points per game (Hailey Oskey, 12.7 ppg). Six players average over six points per game, including Butler and Levy, who have been big bench pieces. 60 is the magic number for GB, with the Phoenix 13-0 in games it scores 60 or more points.

SENSATIONAL AT THE STRIPE
The Phoenix boasts the fifth-best free throw percentage in the country (80.2-percent). Green Bay has five players who have at least 10 free throw attempts and are shooting 80+ percent from the line:
ON THE HORIZON
With three games left in the regular season, Green Bay currently holds the two seed in the HL. The Phoenix is still within reach of the one seed, just behind Youngstown State. The Horizon League tournament begins March 1. With a top four seed, Green Bay would garner a first-round bye and host an opponent Thursday, March 3.
