ELKHORN, Neb. – The Green Bay men's and women's golf teams are off and running at the Omaha Invite. Through the first two rounds of action, the women are in fourth place out of eight teams, while the men are in ninth place out of nine teams.

Zak Kulka paced the men, shooting a 72 in both rounds one and two (E). His performance was good enough to tie for 10th-best overall out of the 54 participants. Max Pasher, who has had a solid senior season, wasn't far behind him. He shot a 75 in round one before improving with a 72 in round two (+3).

Joe Forsting showed what he's capable of by recording a 71 in round two after shooting a 78 in round one (+5). Austin Schnell chipped in with a total of 152 (+8), Ryan Schuelke tallied a 157 (+13), and Ian Behringer rounded out the squad with a 161 (+17).

On the women's side, Katie Warpinski had a strong start to the week, leading the women with a 151 (+7). Similarly to Forsting's outing, she shot a 71 in the second round after shooting an 80 to begin the day. Rounding out the squad below Warpinski is a four-way tie between Ashley Kulka, Caylie Kotlowski, Courtney Mastchke, and reigning Horizon League Golfer of the Week Isabelle Maleki. The quad of players each scored a 153 (+9) and are tied for 13th overall heading into the final round on Thursday.
