GREEN BAY, Wis. – Tuesday morning, Director of Athletics Josh Moon announced the hiring of Sean Daniels as the Associate Athletic Director for External Operations. Daniels will oversee licensing, branding, and external relations including sports information and video production. He will also assist the department in corporate sponsorships/sales.

"He comes to us highly recommended by our friends at UW-Parkside and brings a lot of experience that will help elevate Phoenix Athletics. He has a clear passion for improving the game-day experience for student-athletes and fans and will have a positive impact on our external efforts moving forward."
Daniels joins Green Bay after five years at the University of Wisconsin – Parkside, where he most recently served as the Associate AD for Strategic Communications and Marketing. While at Parkside, Daniels oversaw all communications, marketing, and branding for the NCAA II University. He focused heavily on the branding of Parkside Athletics in the community and across the state, including dozens of facility updates in the Athletics department and at-home facilities.

After graduating from UW-La Crosse in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management and a minor in communications, Daniels spent two years in Kalamazoo, Michigan as a Graduate Assistant for Media Relations at Western Michigan. In this position, he was the primary contact for women's basketball, baseball, men's and women's tennis, and was the secondary contact for football.
The Wild Rose, Wis. native had a brief stint at Air Force following his time in Kalamazoo, serving as the Assistant Director of Media Relations and primary contact for Falcons baseball, women's gymnastics, and men's and women's swimming and diving before moving back to his home state for the position with UW-Parkside.
Daniels earned his Master's Degree in Sport Management from Western Michigan in the spring of 2017 before joining Parkside in October 2017. Sean and his wife, Tori, have one son, Wesley.
