GREEN BAY, Wis. – Green Bay men's and women's golf began their second invites of the fall 2022 season. The GB men are at the Valpo Fall Invitational in Chesterton, Indiana, while the women are at the Jackrabbit Intercollegiate in Brookings, South Dakota.
 
MEN
Of the 17 men's teams, nine didn't complete round two Monday evening because it became too dark. Green Bay was among the eight that finished, and it was Zak Kulka pacing the Phoenix. The Beaver Dam, Wis., native finished with a 73 in round one and 78 in round two (par 72) to total 153 on the day. Austin Schnell was on Kulka's heels, totaling a 74 in the first round and a 152 in round two, totaling a score of 154.

WOMEN
The Green Bay women had a solid day in South Dakota, with Ashley Kulka and Courtney Matschke leading the way. Kulka finished in the top 15 by posting a 78 in round one and 80 in round two (par 72).. Matschke, one of four graduate students on GB completed the day just one stroke back of Kulka, the difference being a 79 in round one. Matschke is tied for 16th overall.
