SHEREVILLE, Ind. – The Green Bay women's golf team is sitting near the top of the leaderboard after day one of the Briar Ridge Invitational in Shereville, Ind.
Isabelle Maleki leads the Phoenix at one-under par, tied with Cleveland State's Mandie Ruminski and UIC's Megan Tang atop the individual leaderboard.
After one round of 18, Green Bay sits in second place at +15 (303), just three shots behind Morehead State for first place (300). Maleki leads the pack, but four other Phoenix are not far behind.
Courtney Matschke shot +4 (T11),
Jenna Anderson finished +5 (T18), and
Grace Welch and
Caylie Kotlowski are both tied in 29
th place after shooting a +7.
