MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Sunday afternoon was one to forget for the Green Bay women's soccer team, falling at the hands of Marquette 5-0. The loss dropped GB's record to 2-2 overall.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Golden Eagles controlled the game from the very beginning, scoring within the first minute to grab the 1-0 lead. They scored again in the 8^th minute, and once more before half in the 23^rd minute. GB was outshot 12-2 in the first half.

Marquette came out strong again in the second, tacking on goals in the 49^th and 73^rd minutes to secure the 5-0 win.

GAME NOTES

• Green Bay received two yellow cards. Audrey Cassata in the 63^rd minute and Justice Taylor Colburn in the 66^th minute.
• Green Bay totaled two shots on goal, one from Zoey Pagels and one from Bailey Wiemann.

UP NEXT
GB will look to bounce back next weekend as they travel to North Dakota State to take on the Bison Friday night at 5 p.m. The game will be live-streamed on NDSU All-Access.
