MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Sunday afternoon was one to forget for the Green Bay women's soccer team, falling at the hands of Marquette 5-0. The loss dropped GB's record to 2-2 overall.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Golden Eagles controlled the game from the very beginning, scoring within the first minute to grab the 1-0 lead. They scored again in the 8th minute, and once more before half in the 23rd minute. GB was outshot 12-2 in the first half.
Marquette came out strong again in the second, tacking on goals in the 49th and 73rd minutes to secure the 5-0 win.

UP NEXT
GB will look to bounce back next weekend as they travel to North Dakota State to take on the Bison Friday night at 5 p.m. The game will be live-streamed on NDSU All-Access.
