INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Monday afternoon the Horizon League announced Green Bay volleyball's
Hannah Vanden Berg was named the Under Armour Horizon League Player of the Week.
Vanden Berg led Green Bay to a 2-0 weekend and 4-0 start to the Horizon League season. The Little Chute, Wis., native finished the weekend with 29 kills on a .235 attack percentage. Vanden Berg was especially key against Robert Morris, where she led the team with 18 kills, nine digs, and five blocks.
Vanden Berg is a key piece for the Phoenix, as she leads the team with 169 kills and is second on the team with 151 digs.
The Phoenix is currently 4-0 in league play, and will visit the only other 4-0 team in the conference tomorrow at Milwaukee. First serve is at 6 p.m. at the Klotsche Center.
