ABOUT THE PANTHERS
Following an impressive campaign under the guidance of Iowa native and 16-year head coach Tanya Warren, the Panthers put up a 23-10 overall record, tallying a 16-4 conference record. Warren has not produced a season with a losing record since her inaugural season in 2007 and has appeared in the NCAA tournament on three occasions. The Panthers turn to their junior forward Grace Boffeli, the team's leading scorer from last season, averaging 16.1 points per game, a new personal career high. Boffeli had a breakout season, nearly doubling her points total from the season before, and scoring 55.3% of her shots can create a threat to opposing teams. Boffeli is also a name to watch to snag rebounds at any time, as she led the roster in both offensive rebounds (88) and defensive rebounds (215) while also leading the Missouri Valley Conference in both total rebounds (303) and rebounds per game (9.2). Fellow junior for the Panthers Maya McDermott is the usual culprit for assists, nodding in 116, 51 higher than second on the team. McDermott also is second only to Boffeli in scoring, averaging 14.7 points a game, and is lights out from the charity stripe, scoring 90 of 99 times on the free throw line, or 90.9%.
A NEW HORIZON
Green Bay welcomes Natalie Andersen, a transfer from fellow Horizon League school IUPUI. Andersen tallied 9.4 points per game and was one of IUPUI's most efficient scorers. Andersen was second in the Horizon League in free throw percentage among starters, shooting 88.9%, and scored 47.5% of her attempted shots, which is north of all Horizon League team percentages.
BUTLER GETS BUCKETS
Junior Bailey Butler has proven to be valuable in Green Bay's success. Butler was the third-leading scorer a season ago, as well as the Phoenix's leader for free throws (75), steals (46), and assists (140). With her production, she saw more minutes than any other player last season.

The Phoenix will begin the new season with three true freshmen joining the squad.Â
Center Meghan Schultz performed like a star in her senior season at New Berlin West High, leading the team in field goal percentage (59.9%), points per game (22.4), offensive (141) and defensive rebounds (146), assists (69), blocks (58), and free throws made (149), while being second in free throw percentage (71.1%), as well as being a perfect one of one from three points range.
Sophie Lahti, a forward from Pine City, Minnesota, looks to follow up a season where she was her team's leading three-point scorer and second in overall points. Lahti led the squad in assists with 129 and was the steals leader (69) and second in blocks (13).
Rounding out the class is Maren Westin, a native of Becker, Minnesota, who helped lead Becker High School to state, leading in three-point percentage (43.4%), and tied for second as the highest scorer with 16 points per game. Despite her position, Westin tallied the most offensive rebounds of the team (124) and performed as a complete player on the court.    Â
