David Douglas Jr. Named Under Armour Horizon League Freshman of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Tuesday afternoon, the Horizon League announced the Under Armour Horizon League Men's Basketball Player of the Week and Freshman of the Week. Green Bay Freshman David Douglas Jr. was named the Freshman of the Week after his recent standout performances.

This past week Douglas led the Phoenix to a 1-0 week with a career-high 15 points in a 79-46 win over Milwaukee School of Engineering on Thursday, Dec. 21. Douglas has scored in double figures in four straight games. Across those four games, he is averaging 13.2 points and 3.2 rebounds per game.

GB's nonconference season has come to an end, and the Phoenix will restart the Horizon League schedule with Wright State at the Resch Center on Friday, Dec. 29 at noon. Following, they'll also host Robert Morris on Sunday, Dec. 31 at noon.
