Green Bay is 1-2 against Robert Morris all-time and 36-17 against Youngstown State. In their lone road game against RMU, GB dropped a tight 62-60 contest on January 29, 2022. The Phoenix can even the split at YSU on Saturday, going into Youngstown 12-13. GB's last road game at YSU was on January 27, 2022, when the Phoenix lost 63-50.

Earlier this season, the Phoenix fell to Robert Morris 72-38 on Saturday, Jan. 21 at the Resch Center. GB also fell to Youngstown State at home on Thursday, Jan. 19, 86-70.

ABOUT THE COLONIALS
Head coach Andrew Toole is in his 13th season with Robert Morris, collecting 212 wins and 208 losses in his career. Toole has his squad in the thick of the Horizon League standings, currently sporting a 7-9 conference record. Enoch Cheeks paces RMU's offense with 16.2 points per contest, good for ninth in the HL. Kahliel Spear is another name to watch for the Colonials, averaging 15.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per game. In the matchup between GB and RMU earlier this season, Spear finished with 19 points and six rebounds while Cheeks had 13 points, eight assists, and four rebounds.

ABOUT THE PENGUINS
Jerrod Calhoun began his sixth season with Youngstown State last fall and is 92-93 in his time with the Penguins. The Phoenix will face another elite scorer on Saturday in Dwayne Cohill, who is fourth in the HL in scoring (18.1). Cohill does most of his damage inside the arc, where he shoots 52.7 percent – third best in the conference – and has knocked down 87.9 percent of his free throws. Brandon Rush (14.4), Malek Green (13.8), and Adrian Nelson (12.9) also average in double figures for YSU.

LAST MATCHUP
The Phoenix came out on the losing end of a 76-71 battle with Detroit Mercy on Saturday. Clarence Cummings III registered his second game with 20 or more points this season, scoring 20 and grabbing six rebounds. In his return from injury, Zae Blake racked up 18 points as well. Antoine Davis, the nation's leading scorer, led UDM with 41 points.

NEW BEGINNINGS
Assistant coach Freddie owens was named Interim Head Coach on January 24. Owens boasts over 15 years of coaching experience and had previous stops at Loyola-Maryland, College of the Holy Cross, Utah Valley State, Oregon State, and Iowa State. He was a two-year starter and four-year letterwinner at Wisconsin, where he was the co-captain of the Badgers' 2002 and 2003 Big Ten regular-season and 2004 Big Ten tournament championship teams. Owens grew up in Milwaukee and attended Washington High School. He earned his first win as a head coach at Milwaukee on February 6.

COMING ON STRONG
Junior guard Davin Zeigler has been a revelation for the Phoenix in February. He hit two crucial shots in the Feb. 6 victory against Milwaukee, draining a triple to force overtime and a long two for the win. He followed that up with a team-leading 14-point effort over Oakland on Feb. 9 and scored 12 more against Detroit Mercy on Feb. 11.

LET IT FLY
Green Bay shot a season-high 42 threes and made a program record 16 of them in the Feb. 6 win over Milwaukee. The previous season-high was 30 attempts at Oakland on December 31. GB continued shoot it from deep, finishing 12-for-33 (36 percent) against Detroit Mercy.

RUNNING WITH RYAN
Senior guard Ryan Wade has stepped up in a big way in the past month. After starting the season as a rotation player, Wade has started six of the last eight games at point guard for Green Bay. He averages 30 minutes per game in February and scored a season-high 10 points against Milwaukee on Feb. 6.

COUNT ON CUMMINGS
Clarence Cummings III has provided consistency in his first season for the Phoenix. Cummings is shooting 43.8 percent from the field and averages 10.4 points per game, good for second on the team behind Cade Meyer. He is also second on the team in rebounds per game at 3.6. Cummings has been a mainstay for Green Bay, leading the team with 29.9 minutes per game while starting 26 of GB's 27 games.

MAKIN' MEYER
Sophomore forward Cade Meyer has taken a second-year leap. The Monroe, Wisconsin native leads the team in scoring (11.1), rebounding (5.0), and field goal percentage (58.2 percent). Meyer is second on the team in minutes per game (28.3).

ON THE HORIZON
Just four games remain on the docket for the Phoenix. GB is currently the no. 10 seed in the Horizon League, but IUPUI trails by one game. Green Bay will close out the season next week with a two-game homestand, facing Cleveland State on Feb. 23 and Youngstown state on Feb. 25.
