INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - After a solid weekend at the UE Softball Invitational in Evansville, Ind., Green Bay softball's Brittany Baneck was named the Nike #HLSB Pitcher of the Week.

Baneck was lights out in three appearances for the Phoenix, highlighted by a complete game shutout in a 2-0 win over UT Martin on Saturday. Baneck, also started the first game of the tournament, going seven innings in a 1-0 loss to Southern Indiana, allowing just four hits and one run. At the end of the weekend, the Green Bay native finished with 19.2 innings pitched, 12 strikeouts, and just a 0.71 ERA.
