GREEN BAY, Wis. - The Green Bay men's and women's swimming and diving teams were honored last Thursday as members of the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team. The CSCAA selected 803 teams from 479 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2022 semester.
"I am very proud of our continued success in the classroom. Their dedication to their academics is evident and is a big part of our program," said head coach
Alex Lewis. "The team's success in the classroom is a testament to being a holistic student-athlete, as well as the team's mission of excellence in all we do."
Teams were selected on the basis of their Fall 2022 team grade point averages and represent 19,426 student-athletes. The Phoenix men were honored for their 3.29 GPA while the women posted a 3.50.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
