INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – On Wednesday afternoon, the NCAA Division I Women's Golf Committee announced the teams and individuals that will participate in the 2023 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Regionals.
After winning the program's first-ever Horizon League Championship on Tuesday, the Green Bay women's golf team was selected as the No. 12 seed in the Pullman Regional. From May 8-10, the Phoenix will compete against 11 other squads, including Stanford, Baylor, USC, Clemson, Kentucky, Texas Tech, Houston, North Carolina, UNLV, Sacramento State, and Cal Poly. The regional site is at Palouse Ridge Golf Club, located in Pullman, Washington, just over an hour south of Spokane.
All six regional sites will have 12 teams and six individuals. The top five teams (30 teams total) and the low individual not on an advancing team (six individuals total) from each regional site, 156 student-athletes total, will advance to play in the national championships on May 19-24 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. Championship play will be hosted by Arizona State and The Thunderbirds, with the final three days of the championships televised live by the GOLF Channel.
