GREEN BAY, Wis. – Green Bay Women's Basketball has announced the hiring of Jada Patterson as Director of Operations & Content Creation. Patterson joins the staff after recently graduating from UW-Green Bay with a degree in Communication.
"We are excited about Jada joining our staff," commented head coach
Kevin Borseth. "Jada is very familiar with our program in that she served as a student manager for the WBB team. Later, Jada became more involved in the university as a whole working in both leadership and social media roles. Her familiarity with both our program and university should make for a smooth transition moving forward."
Patterson produced content, including videos and photos, for the team's social media accounts and assisted in delivering in-game content during the 2022-23 season. Prior to that, she was a student manager for the women's basketball team during the 2020-21 season, assisting in the overall day-to-day operations during the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to her sports videography duties, Patterson served as a Student Ambassador Co-Director, University Student Ambassador, and was the Black Student Union Vice President on campus.
"As a recent GB graduate, joining the staff was an easy decision," said Patterson. "Being able to be around the sport that I love every day, create content for this amazing group, and work with a staff that has supported me on this journey means everything. I feel welcomed by the entire GB athletic department, and at home with the WBB program. I look forward to growing as an individual, having new experiences, and helping the program thrive wherever I can!".
