GREEN BAY, Wis. – The time has come! Green Bay women's basketball, fresh off its 21st Horizon League regular season championship, released the 2023-24 non-conference schedule today.
A dozen games are on the slate, including three neutral site contests.
GB will open the season on October 25 against UW-Stout at the Kress Center. The Phoenix will follow with another home game against Northern Michigan on November 1 before traveling to Northern Iowa for a battle with the Panthers on November 6. GB will return home briefly for a date with Illinois State on November 11 before heading back on the road to face Creighton on the 16th.

Green Bay will spend Thanksgiving in Cancun for the Cancun Challenge. The Phoenix will clash against UMass on Thanksgiving Day, Big 10 foe Maryland on November 24, and Washington State on November 25. All three games are powered by Triple Crown Sports and will be played at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya. Fans interested in seeing the Phoenix in sunny Mexico can

GB will conclude its trip with a visit to DePaul on December 5 before returning home. Former Horizon League rival UIC will visit the Kress on December 13 before St. Louis comes to Titletown on December 16. UW-Parkside will be the final non-conference game of the season on December 19.

Non-conference schedule quick facts
- GB and Northern Michigan will meet for the 23rd time this season. Green Bay owns a 12-10 record against the Wildcats.
- The Phoenix and Northern Iowa will clash for the 11th time. GB has dominated the previous 10 games, winning eight.
- Green Bay is 5-2 in seven previous meetings against the Redbirds. Under head coach Kevin Borseth, the Phoenix is 5-0 against Illinois State.
- Creighton and Green Bay haven't matched up since 1995. GB is 3-4 against the Bluejays.
- The Phoenix has never battled UMass.
- GB is 0-1 against Maryland and 1-1 versus Washington State.
- Natalie McNeal will face her former team, St. Louis, for the second consecutive year. The Germantown native spent her first two collegiate seasons with the Billikens.
