KEWADIN, Mich. – The Green Bay women's golf team opened the 2023-24 campaign at the A-GA-Ming Invitational. The two-day event, spanning Sunday to Monday, featured 13 squads, including four Horizon League institutions (Oakland, Detroit Mercy, Purdue Fort Wayne, and GB). Abilene Christian won the event, while Oakland's Bridget Boczar was the individual champion.
After entering Monday's action in fourth place, the Phoenix concluded the tournament in seventh place. Despite the slight drop on Labor Day, Green Bay saw promising results from true freshman Riley Pechinski, who concluded the tournament in a tie for ninth (221, +5). Graduate Lexi Meade, who transferred from UW-Eau Claire, tied for 28th place by scoring 229 (+13). Caylie Kotlowski also had a solid outing, tallying 230 strokes (+14).
