CATAWBA ISLAND, Ohio. – The Rocket Classic hosted by Toledo at Catawba Island Golf Course came to a close Tuesday afternoon, and Ellie Frisch was outstanding in leading the Green Bay Phoenix women's golf team. The junior from Middleton shot +12 to finish the tournament tied for 12th place individually. The Phoenix finished sixth out of 10 teams.

Riley Pechinski shot a +14, good for a T18 finish among the field, with Lexi Meade finishing just behind that with a +17 tied for 24th. Jordan Shipshock rounded out the scoring for GB, finishing 40th with a +27 on the day. Caylie Kotlowski rounded out the Phoenix field with a +33 that tied for 47th.

Ohio came out on top with a +42 over Akron, Toledo, fellow Horizon League competitor Purdue Fort Wayne, and Central Michigan rounding out the top five.

The Phoenix women will rest for five days before heading out to Bartonville, Ill. To compete in the Coyote Creek Classic on Sunday, Oct. 6 & Monday, Oct. 7.
