Phoenix Women's Golf Finishes Fifth at Coyote Creek Classic

GREEN BAY, Wis. – Across two days and three rounds of golf, the Green Bay women's golf team participated in the Bradley Coyote Creek Classic at Coyote Creek GC in Bartonville, Ill. Competing against a diverse field that included Bradley, Evansville, Oakland, Western Illinois, Northern Iowa, Lindenwood, and Southern Indiana, the Phoenix finished the tournament in 5th place with an overall score of +88 (+24 Rd1, +34 Rd2, +30 Rd3). Bradley, Evansville, and Oakland finished in the top three.

Standout performances came from several Phoenix players. Riley Pechinski ended the tournament at +16, finishing in 11th place. Ellie Frisch and Jordan Shipshock each concluded with a score of +25 to finish tied for 24th, while Lexi Meade followed closely at +26 to finish tied for 26th place. Caylie Kotlowski fought through to finish with +44, coming in at 46th.

Looking forward, the Green Bay Phoenix is set to compete next at the Motor City Matchup in Birmingham, Mich., on Oct. 14-15, 2024, which will conclude the fall season.
