The Bearcats jumped out to a 16-5 lead and stifled the Flames for just eight points in the fourth quarter en route to UIC's defeat. Danyel Middleton led UIC with 10 points. Jaida McCloud filled the stat sheet, tallying 12 rebounds while recording a block and leading the team with 34 minutes played. Head Coach Ashleen Bracey is in her third season as a collegiate head coach, all with the Flames. 1. GOTTA GUARD GENKE
Callie Genke has stepped up for Green Bay in the first two games. No. 12 had knocked down seven of 13 field goals, including six of 10 from beyond the arc. The Wrightstown, Wisconsin native played 25 minutes against Northern Iowa last Saturday, shooting four-of-seven, with all field goal attempts being threes.

2. SO WHAT YOU'RE SAYING IS...
Green Bay is in somewhat rare territory to begin the 2024-25 season. Since the start of the century, the Phoenix has started 0-2 just once while losing two out of its first three only twice. The last time Green Bay began 0-2 was the 2018-19 season under Kevin Borseth, when Green Bay finished 22-10 overall (15-3 in Horizon League play) while making the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

3. THERE GOES GUYER!
Center/forward Jenna Guyer helped the Phoenix down the stretch last season and is off to a strong start this year. The CIrcle Pines, Minnesota native has scored seven points in each of GB's first two contests, totaling 27 minutes of game action. She's been efficient from the field, shooting six-of-14 (3-of-7 in each game). Guyer grabbed five rebounds last Saturday against Northern Iowa, the second-most on the team.

Head Coach Kayla Karius (Testchlag) played at Green Bay from 2007-2011... Assistant Coach Allie Alexander (LeClaire) played at Green Bay from 2014-18 and is a Green Bay native...
