GREEN BAY, Wis. - The Green Bay women's basketball team will look to make it three Ws in a row when they welcome the DePaul Blue Demons to the Kress Center Thursday night. Tipoff is set for 6 PM. Fans are encouraged to participate in the halftime Teddy Bear toss, supporting St. Vincent's Children's Hospital in Green Bay.

ABOUT THE BLUE DEMONS
Jorie Allen leads DePaul into Titletown as the Blue Demons seek to get back in the win column after suffering a 61-91 loss to fourth-ranked Texas on Sunday night in Chicago. Allen, a six-foot forward, paces DePaul in points, assists, steals, and blocks. DePaul has had a rollercoaster start to the 2024-25 campaign, winning by 21 (Mercyhurst), losing by 21 (Princeton), winning by 15 (Loyola-Chicago), and losing by 30 (Texas). Green Bay and DePaul are both looking to get above .500 on the season, while the Phoenix seeks its first victory over DePaul since December 2, 2009.

2. RIGHTFULLY REWARDED
The Horizon League announced on Monday afternoon that
Maddy Schreiber has been named Under Armour Player of the Week. It is the first such award for Schreiber. Maddy played an integral part in Green Bay's two victories this past week, racking up a career-high 25 points in a thrilling victory at UIC on November 13. She followed up that performance by pacing the team with 13 points in another nail-biting victory over North Dakota on Sunday.
3. 1,000 REASONS
Natalie McNeal has been sharp to begin her 2024-25 campaign. No. 11 has made 21 of 42 field goals so far and has been a perfect eight-for-eight from the charity stripe. McNeal has been Green Bay's best rebounder as well, averaging five per game. McNeal is on the brink of scoring her 1,000th career point, currently with 979. Natalie also set a career-high with six assists at UIC on November 13.
4. GOTTA GUARD GENKE
Callie Genke has stepped up for Green Bay so far this season. No. 12 had knocked down 12 of 19 field goals, including nine of 14 from beyond the arc. The Wrightstown, Wisconsin native knocked down all two of her three shot attempts against North Dakota on Sunday, helping the Phoenix to a narrow 66-63 victory.
5. SHARP-SHOOTIN' SCHREIBER
Senior guard/forward
Maddy Schreiber is another returnee for the Phoenix. In 2023-24, she finished 162-of-293 overall (55.3 percent) while drilling 41 of 97 three-points attempts (42.3 percent). She was also sharp from the charity stripe, knocking down 45 of 55 free throw attempts (81.8 percent). Maddy was second on the team in points per game (12.1), only trailing McNeal. Schreiber currently leads the Phoenix in a multitude of categories, including points, field goals attempted, three-point field goals attempted, free throws attempted, minutes, steals, and blocks.
