INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Wednesday afternoon the Horizon League announced the Valeo Men's Basketball All-Academic Teams, with Green Bay redshirt junior Ryan Wade earning honorable mention.
 
Wade has been a critical bench piece for GB, stepping up in big moments for the Phoenix. The Ann Arbor, Mich., native had a season-high seven points, three assists, and three rebounds in Green Bay's 78-64 win over Detroit Mercy on January 27.
 
The Horizon League recognizes student-athletes with seasonal Academic All-League Teams in each of its 19 championship sports. To be eligible for Horizon League All-Academic consideration, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher (based on a 4.00 scale), have completed at least one year at the member institution, have earned 24 semester-hour or 36 quarter-hour credits, and participate in 50 percent of the team's overall contests. An Honorable Mention team is awarded to student-athletes who received at least 25 percent of votes but did not make the All-Academic team.
