ABOUT THE NORSE
Head Coach Camryn Volz (Whitaker) is in her eighth season as a HC, all spent with the Norse. Despite NKU struggling with a 6-15 record, Carter McCray and Khamari Mitchell-Steen have been a two-man wrecking crew. The former paces NKU in points per game (14.4 PPG) and rebounds per game (10.8 RPG), while the latter leads the Norse in assists (2.7 APG), steals (1.9 SPG), blocks (0.6 BPG), and minutes (31.9 MPG). GB is 16-3 all-time against Northern Kentucky, while boasting a 7-1 record when hosting the Norse. Bailey Butler tallied 20 points in the last meeting against NKU, which was on January 5, 2024, an 86-56 win for the Phoenix. NKU is just 1-8 in away games this season.

ABOUT THE JAGUARS
Kate Bruce is in her second season at the helm of the IUPUI program. The Jaguars will enter their Thursday matchup at Milwaukee with a 5-16 overall record (3-9 HL). IUPUI is also 1-8 on the road this season. Katie Davidson leads IUPUI in points per game at 18.1 PPG and is also the team's steals leader (1.4 PPG). Jazmyn Turner grabs 6.6 rebounds per contest.

GET IN THE ZONE, PINKZONE
Green Bay is donning its special PinkZone jerseys for both games this weekend. Five jerseys will be auctioned off following Saturday's contest against IUPUI, with all proceeds benefitting the Ribbon of Hope Foundation, based in De Pere, Wisconsin.

KEVIN!
Head Coach Kevin Borseth is once again on the brink of another historic career milestone. After earning his 800th career win on December 13, he can collect his 500th win as the Head Coach of the Phoenix with a victory tonight over Northern Kentucky. KB is also just 14 victories from tallying his 600th win as a Division I Head Coach.

SHINING SCHREIBER
Maddy Schreiber has been a big part of Green Bay's success this season, scoring at least 12 points in 16 of GB's 22 contests. In those 16 games, GB's record is 12-4. She chipped in with 12 points in the upset win over then No. 23-ranked Washington State, 14 points in the upset victory over then No. 22-ranked Creighton, and poured in a career-high 23 points in the win over Milwaukee on November 30. Maddy recorded her first career double-double in the win over IUPUI two weeks ago, tallying 13 points and 11 rebounds. Her 11 rebounds are a career-high.

NAT ATTACK
Natalie McNeal has been a rebounding machine this season, pacing the squad with 6.0 rebounds per game. The fourth-year player from Germantown, Wisconsin is in her second season as a Phoenix after spending her first two collegiate years with Saint Louis. Her 6.0 RPG is currently on pace for a career-high. McNeal dominated in the loss against Cleveland State last Saturday, racking up a career-high 30 points.

TAKING NOTE
When Green Bay wins this season, they dominate. The Phoenix ranks 26th in scoring margin, winning by an average of 18.2 points per game. Green Bay is also 16-2 in games where the final score was decided by 11 or more points. GB's close defeat to Oakland was the first game that Green Bay has had finish within 10 points since the beginning of the team's 10-game win streak, a 64-56 win over UIC in mid-December. The Phoenix recorded its first 10+-game win streak since the program ripped off 13 victories in a row from January 22-March 6, 2023 last season with the win over Detroit Mercy last week Thursday.

CASSIE CRASHING THE BOARDS
Junior guard Cassie Schiltz has been dominant from the field this season, shooting 45.9-percent overall, 40.2-percent from beyond the arc, and 92.7-percent from the charity stripe. Schiltz, who garnered her first Horizon League Player of the Week honor at the beginning of the month, also racked up 13 points, 11 rebounds in GB's win at Wright State two weeks ago. Schiltz tallied a career-high 27 points in the win over Cleveland State on December 30.

DOING A SUPER(LATIVE) JOB
GB has had unparalleled success during this season. Here's a breakdown of some interesting superlatives prior to Thursday's game versus Northern Kentucky:
  • There has been only one game that finished within three points.
  • GB is 11-2 versus winning teams.
  • Four of GB's five losses are against teams that are at or below .500.
  • The Phoenix is 14-1 when scoring 70+ points.
  • Green Bay has recorded a higher field goal percentage than its opponents 17 times, reigning victorious in all 17 contests.
  • GB is 16-1 when leading at the half.
  • Green Bay is 14-0 when surrendering less than 60 points.
  • The Phoenix has held all but two opponents (Oakland on Jan. 20) and (Cleveland State on Feb. 3) to less than 50-percent shooting.
JAS IN THE JUNGLE
'Jas' currently paces GB in blocks with 12, averaging just over half a rejection per contest. Kondrakiewicz dropped 21 points and 12 rebounds vs IUPUI. She capped an incredible week off with 20 more points against Wright State, and her performances earned her the first Player of the Week award of her career this past Monday.

WELCOME TO TITLETOWN
The Phoenix boasts a trio of true freshmen (Maren Westin, Sophie Lahti, and Meghan Schultz) and one transfer (Natalie Andersen, IUPUI). Westin and Andersen are guards, while Lahti and Schultz bring height to the forward position. Schultz stands at six feet, four inches, surpassing Kendall Renard as the tallest player on the team. The Phoenix once again boast a roster of mostly homegrown talent. Of the 13 players on the roster, 10 are from the dairyland. Only Westin (Becker, Minn.), Lahti (Pine City, Minn.), and Jenna Guyer (Circle Pines, Minn.) are not from Wisconsin.
