GREEN BAY, Wis. - Are you ready to dance? The Green Bay Phoenix women's basketball team is! GB, an 11 seed, will take on the sixth-seeded Tennessee Lady Volunteers at the Reynolds Coliseum in Raleigh, North Carolina. Green Bay is making its 19th NCAA Tournament appearance and first since 2018.
Tipoff is slated for 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 23. The contest will air nationally on ESPN, at watchespn.com, and in the ESPN App, free to download on mobile devices. Fans can also follow along in the official NCAA Women's March Madness app.
The Phoenix and Volunteers will meet up for only the third time ever, with GB seeking its first victory against Tennessee. Green Bay last met the Volunteers in the 2016 NCAA Tournament, dropping a close contest 59-53. The winner of the game will face the winner of the NC State-Chattanooga game in the second round on March 25.
