GREEN BAY, Wis. – The matchup is set! Green Bay women's basketball will take on No. 7-seeded Youngstown State at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Kress Center in the 2024 Barbasol Horizon League Quarterfinal round. YSU defeated IUPUI handily at home in Tuesday's first-round action, 73-50.

GB is 2-0 against the Penguins this season, crushing YSU 85-47 at the Kress on January 11 before winning 71-59 at YSU on February 17. Natalie McNeal was nearly unstoppable in both meetings, collecting nine rebounds and 14 points in the Jan. 11 matchup before recording a double-double (10 rebs., 18 pts.) at the Beeghly Center on Feb. 17. Including both of this season's matchups, the Phoenix is 47-6 all-time against the Penguins.
The other three quarterfinal matchups scheduled for Thursday night are:
- No. 1 Cleveland State vs. No. 9 Northern Kentucky (6 p.m. CST, ESPN+)
- No. 3 Purdue Fort Wayne vs. No. 6 Detroit Mercy (6 p.m. CST, ESPN+)
- No. 4 Wright State vs. No. 5 Milwaukee (4:30 p.m. CST, ESPN+)
The winner of the quarterfinal matchups will head to Indianapolis for the semifinal round on March 11 at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum. The Championship game is on March 12 and will air nationally on ESPNU.
