MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Green Bay men's basketball team fell to Milwaukee 59-70 Saturday afternoon in the Cream City.

The Phoenix (2-16, 0-7 HL) was paced by 15 points each from Marcus Hall and Yonatan Levy, while Mac Wrecke chipped in with 13.

Milwaukee (12-6, 5-2 HL) was paced by 14 points from Themus Fulks. Kentrell Pullian had 13 more, and John Lovelace, Jr. and Erik Pratt each had 10.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Green Bay started out step-for-step with the Panthers, pulling within one at 10-9 after a Preston Ruedinger three with 12:05 to go before halftime. As the half crawled towards intermission, MKE began to pull away, extending its lead to 12 after a Danilo Jovanovich and-one, sending the Phoenix into the locker room trailing 36-24.

Milwaukee controlled most of the second half, but Green Bay would not go away. The Phoenix pulled into within five after a pair of free throws with 2:21 remaining in regulation. The Panthers got to the free throw line down the stretch and iced the contest at the charity stripe as GB fell 59-70.

GAME NOTES
» MKE had 21 bench points to GB's seven.
» Each team found success in the paint, with Milwaukee having a 32-30 edge inside the lane.
» Levy nearly had a double-double, grabbing a team-high eight rebounds.

Green Bay will look ahead to a three-game homestand, beginning next Friday at the Resch Center against Robert Morris. Tipoff is slated for 6 PM.
