ABOUT THE NORSE
Northern Kentucky is playing decently in Horizon League play this season with a 4-6 record in conference action. NKU has several players who have made an impact this season, including Halle Idowu's team-leading 12.1 points per game. Mya Meredith paces the Norse in rebounds (5.8 RPG) and steals (1.5 SPG), while Jaci Jones shares the ball well with 3.2 assists per game.

Green Bay has dominated NKU in the all-time series, boasting an 18-3 record against the Norse. GB has won the last six meetings, holding NKU to 63 or fewer points in the last 18 meetings, including less than 60 in the last six matchups. Green Bay is 8-2 when visiting Northern Kentucky, not having lost in Highland Heights since February 1, 2020. In the matchup against NKU on January 2, Jenna Guyer led all players with 22 points. Natalie McNeal added another 17, while Cassie Schiltz chipped in with 15 and Callie Genke tallied 10. 1. DOUBLE-DOUBLE THE FUN
Natalie McNeal was named the Player of the Week by the Horizon League on January 13, the third time in her Green Bay career to win the award and second time this season. Previously awarded the accolade on November 25, 2024, McNeal dominated against Robert Morris on January 11. She recorded her 8th career double-double – sixth with Green Bay – by posting 22 points (which led all players) and 18 rebounds (also led all players). She recorded her ninth career double-double on Thursday at Wright State, posting 15 points and 12 rebounds.

2. CALLIE'S CRUSHIN' IT
Callie Genke is having a phenomenal 2024-25 campaign. No. 12 has been a remarkable 70-for-142 overall while drilling 44 of 97 three-point field goal attempts. Genke is also 22-of-27 from the free-throw line. Callie officially played her 100th career game against IU Indy on December 4. She is also 13th in the country in three-point percentage. She has led the team in scoring three times this season, most recently against Oakland when she scored a season-best 22 points. On pace for a career year, she currently has:
  • Career-high in field goal percentage (49.3 percent; five percent above the next highest).
  • Career-high 45.4 percent from beyond the arc (7.2 percent above the next highest).
  • Career-best 9.8 points per game.
3. WINNING WITH KARIUS
First-year head coach Kayla Karius is finding success back at her alma mater. Karius has guided the Phoenix to an 16-5 start overall and an 9-1 start in Horizon League play, with GB extending its win streak to seven on Thursday against Detroit Mercy, the longest of the season. She tallied her 50th career win with the victory over Robert Morris last Saturday (third season overall).

4. Kevin Borseth - 24 games (1998-99)

4. CAREER-HIGH FOR KONDRAKIEWICZ
Jasmine Kondrakiewicz is having a superb season. She leads the team in rebounds, steals, and blocks. Kondrakiewicz has grabbed 143 rebounds, which ranks 127th in the nation. 'Jas' became the 40th player in program history to reach 1,000 points in the win over Detroit Mercy on January 16, making a layup with 4:40 remaining in the fourth quarter. She notched her 100th career block on January 2 against Northern Kentucky. Her seven steals against Ripon College last month were a career-high, while also recording her seventh career double-double against Ripon (14 pts., 13 rebs.). GB's win over Wright State on January 4 was the 100th win she's been part of in her career. On Thursday at Wright State, Jasmine racked up a career-high 31 points, helping the Phoenix win its ninth game in a row.
