INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Green Bay women's basketball team will begin a long road trip for the rest of 2025, starting on Wednesday, as the Phoenix travel to the Jungle to face off against the IU Indy Jaguars at 5:30 p.m. CST. Green Bay will travel to the Emerald City on Saturday as they turn their focus to #20 Washington to take on the Huskies, with tip-off scheduled for 2:00 p.m. CST.

ABOUT THE JAGUARS
IU Indy is led by fourth-year head coach Kate Bruce, who has the Jaguars at a 3-6 record entering Wednesday's game. The Jaguars lost both of their Horizon League games thus far, falling 74-68 to PFW on Wednesday and 74-69 at Detroit Mercy on Sunday. IU Indy is led in scoring by junior Nevaeh Foster, averaging 14.4 points per game, including seven double-digit performances through nine games. Fellow Junior Hailey Smith is averaging 10.2 points per game for the Jaguars, including 11 points on Sunday and 15 on Wednesday. Smith leads IU Indy in both rebounds per game, grabbing 6.7 boards on average, and assists per game, dishing 2.4 per game.
ABOUT THE HUSKIES
The #20-ranked Huskies are led by fifth-year head coach Tina Langley, who helped guide the Huskies to a First Four appearance last season. Prior to Washington, Langley spent six seasons as head coach of Rice, winning three conference titles in a row from 2019-21, including a WNIT Championship. Washington suffered its first loss of the season on Sunday at #16 USC 50-59, despite a 20-point outing from its leading scorer (19.2), Sayvia Sellers. Sellers leads the Huskies in assists, with 3.6 per game, to complement a 48.5 field goal percentage and a 37.7 three-point percentage. Scoring 16 points in the loss, Avery Howell is the Huskies' second leading scorer, with 12.6 points per game, and the team's leading rebounder, at 7.6 per game.
LAST TIME OUT
Four Phoenix scored in double figures as the Green Bay Women's basketball team moved to 2-0 in the Horizon League after winning 56-47 against Youngstown State at the Kress Center Sunday afternoon. The Phoenix was led by 22 points and eight rebounds from
Meghan Schultz and another 11 points from both
Jenna Guyer and
Gracie Grzesk, while
Maddy Skorupski added 10 points of her own. Schultz was 8-of-14 from the field, including 6-7 on free throws.
PROTECT HOME COURT
Green Bay has been strong at home in 2025-26, starting the year 5-0. The Phoenix is 2-1 on the road and 0-2 on a neutral court.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL MIDMAJOR POLL
Green Bay has been in the top five of the CollegeInsider Women's Basketball Top 25 Poll all season long. After dropping games against #25 NC State and RV Richmond at the Cancun Challenge, the Phoenix dropped to #6.

Meghan Schultz continued her breakout season in the team's win vs. Youngstown State on Sunday, leading the team with 22 points and eight rebounds. Schultz is leading the team in points per game, averaging 14.6, and in rebounds per game with 5.6.

Gracie Grzesk is on the best stretch of her career, averaging 11.5 points per game in her last four appearances. The Green Bay native has reached double-digit scoring in three of those appearances, including 11 points in the team's win over Youngstown State on Sunday, and a career-high 20-point outing against (RV) Richmond in the Cancun Challenge last week.
PASSING PEPPLER
Milwaukee transfer and senior guard
Kamy Peppler runs the Green Bay offense from the point guard position. Peppler leads the Horizon League, dishing out 5.0 assists per game. Peppler has started all 10 GB games and is averaging 7.4 points, 5.0 assists, and 4.1 rebounds.
SCORING SKORUPSKI
Former Oakland standout and the lone Horizon League All-League player left in the league from a season ago,
Maddy Skorupski, will wear the Green & White in her senior season. Skorupski is third on the team in points per game at 9.2 and second in assists per game, averaging 3.6, which is also the second-most in the HL. She leads the Phoenix with 2.3 steals per game and is second in rebounds at 5.0 per game. The native of Clarkston, Mich., was the leading scorer for Green Bay in their win over Loyola Chicago on Nov. 6, tallying 15 points.
DUFFNEY'S DAY
A disciple of
Kayla Karius during their time together at South Dakota, the two-time CSC Academic All-District player of Green Bay Preble High School,
Carley Duffney, scored her 1,000th career collegiate point in the team's victory over Youngstown State on Sunday. Through ten games, Duffney is averaging 8.2 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. Duffney has scored in double figures in five out of GB's ten games.
GUYER ON FIRE
Jenna Guyer has made the most of her minutes since returning to the Phoenix lineup. Guyer led Green Bay in scoring throughout the Cancun Challenge, scoring 15 vs #25 NC State last Thursday, and 16 points in 19 minutes against (RV) Richmond on Friday. Guyer is second on the team in scoring, with 11.8 points per game, while averaging 3.2 rebounds per game. Guyer was named to the Cancun Challenge All-Tournament Team for averaging 15.5 points and 2.5 rebounds across her two games. Guyer scored 11 points in the Phoenix nine-point win over the Penguins on Sunday, grabbing three rebounds and adding two assists.

After winning the Horizon League and making the NCAA Tournament in her first season as the Phoenix Head Coach,
Kayla Karius will look to do the same in year two with an overhauled roster. Green Bay graduated seven seniors and 85.2% of its scoring from 2024-25. The 2025-26 Phoenix features eight newcomers, consisting of six transfers and two true freshmen. After two seasons as the head coach at South Dakota and her season with the Phoenix, Karius holds an all-time record of 73-38.
