HISTORY IN THE QUARTERFINAL ROUND
Thursday's contest will mark the first-ever postseason matchup between Oakland and Green Bay. Green Bay has been highly successful in the last decade in the conference quarterfinal round. The Phoenix is 7-1 in that span, having earned a double-bye in the other two seasons. GB is 4-0 in the quarterfinal round as the number one seed. In the previous three seasons, the Green and White is 3-0 in the quarterfinal round with an average margin of victory of +26.67. 1. HOME SWEET HOME
Green Bay has won 13 games at home this season. A 14th win at the Kress Center this season would tie the most since just last season, when GB also won 14 at home. The Phoenix has won 13 or more home games seven times in the last 10 years, with the most being 16 home victories during the 2015-16 campaign.

2. THE PEOPLE'S CHAMP
Green Bay fans showed out for last Saturday's regular season finale. With an official attendance of 3,531, it was the largest home crowd at the Kress Center for GB women's basketball since February 27, 2020 (3,594). It was the second-highest attended game since December 8, 2018 against Wisconsin (3,530). Fans witnessed an epic comeback victory, a 68-63 overtime thriller that ended with the Phoenix winning its 23rd Horizon League regular season title.

3. REAPING REWARDS
Multiple Phoenix earned end-of-season conference awards last week. Bailey Butler was named Defensive Player of the year and, alongside Jasmine Kondrakiewicz, was also tabbed to the All-Defensive Team. Natalie McNeal and Maddy Schreiber earned All-League First Team. McNeal, Schreiber, and Callie Genke earned All-Academic honors as well.

4. IT'S A WEEKLY THING
Natalie McNeal was named Horizon League Player of the Week on March 2 for the third time this season and fourth time in her career. It followed a week after Maddy Schreiber was named Player of the Week. There were seven different weeks this season where GB boasted a Player of the Week, with no other team having more than two. It is the most a Phoenix has been selected as Horizon League Player of the Week in program history. Green Bay has had four players earn the accolade this season, which is also the most since the 2012-13 season.

5. THE HUNT FOR MARCH
The winner of Thursday's game will head to Indianapolis for the semifinal round of the 2025 Barbasol Horizon League Championships. Eight of the last 10 tournament champions have also won the regular season championship. The only two times that the regular season champion did not also win the tournament was the past two seasons. In 2022-23, Green Bay won the regular season but dropped the championship game to Cleveland State. In 2023-24 (last season), CSU won the regular season but was defeated by the Phoenix in the championship game.
